The Stage 1 melt blown sediment filter has 4 layers of filtration to reduce damaging impurities like dirt, sand, silt, and rust from the water to protect appliances and the second stage filter. The stage 2 Chloramine reducing carbon block is made from premium coconut shell catalytic carbon, and improves the taste and odor of your water while reducing Chloramine, Chlorine, Hydrogen Sulfide, VOCs, and other chemical impurities. The 20″ size provides extended capacity compared to comparable 10″ filters providing more filtered water with fewer filter changes.
This low maintenance system comes pre-assembled on the mounting bracket and connects easily to plumbing with 3/4″ NPT fittings. The high capacity filters that last up 6 months, and filter changes are quick and easy with built in pressure release valves.
