Description
For low current applications to protect underground storage tanks, a Bagged Magnesium Anode is an option for your cathodic protection needs. Bagged magnesium anodes are installed in the ground near the tank and grounded to the outside of the tank. The bag is made of cotton and specifically designed to prevent ripping. Inside the bag is a proprietary blend of backfill that ensures proper performance for the life of the anode. The anode is a cast alloyed (H1) magnesium block that is sourced from hand selected foundries and is third party tested. Each anode has a plated steel core with 10 feet of #12 TW(THHN/THWN) insulated lead wire attached with solder.
