April 16, 2022I bought this Saw about a month ago and so far I’m loving it. It’s definitely a step up from using a hand saw and miter box. The 12 blade may have been a bit over kill for my uses, but I wanted something that I could grow into as I became more experience with woodworking. My first project was to build a miter saw work stand that would fit on a couple of saw horses. Then I decided I wanted to place that on its on rolling cart so I could move it around the garage shop easier, so that was the immediate next project. This Saw had made my projects much easier to work on, and I’ve already completed some nice outdoor furniture pieces. The blade doesn’t appear to deflect any, makes cuts though 28’s easily in one chop. I have cut some 110’s and 112’s, I just had to flip the board over to finish the cuts. The angle is easy to set and has several positive stops on the most common angles used. The one thing that has caused me a little confusion is that the bolt securing the blade is reverse thread. One just had to watch that when switching blades so that they don’t over tighten and brake the bolt when they mean to be loosening it. Or, stand there trying to get the bolt started for several seconds by twisting the wrong way (guilty). Overall sends to be a good sturdy saw. Hopefully will last me for quite a while.
