   The Rigid driver has plenty of power and torque. We happened to get it right as we were installing a new kitchen so it was very heavily used and held up great. I honestly didn’t test the hammer drill capability but as a drill it shows plenty of power, and with 22 torque settings it is easy to adjust for your job down to the small screws for hanging cabinet doors. The drill has 2 speed settings but also the trigger is the variable speed control. Its nice that it comes with a battery and charger, I find the Rigid batteries a bit higher priced than some others but you can often get a multi pack deal at Home Depot.The battery holds up through a 8 hour day no problem and would probably make it through 2 days, its a pretty quick charge so with a 10 minute charge you can get a couple hours usage. This is a little heavier than my other driver but its still manageable. Ya it comes with a case but I will never use it.
