   This impact is a winner. I use it heavy-use industrial work and it never disappoints and has blown any pneumatic impact I’ve used out of the water. The body and casing are solid and well-protected in the areas that matter. The overmold shows quality and I don’t have to worry about cracking the harder plastic if I drop it. The auto-settings and controls are outstanding. There’s a setting for every scenario, I would be completely comfortable driving small bolts with the auto-tightening mode. Paired with an Octane battery, this impact has almost no competitors. This is the RIDGID tool I show off when I need to convince someone to invest in the line. My only complaint is the placement of the LED. The mid-torque impact had a unique, and effect, design that put the LED on the barrel of the impact, making it much more effective, but this impact has it on top of the battery port, meaning your hand will block most of the light. A minor complaint. Price is reasonable when compared to similar products, and of course, if you manage to kill this thing, nothing beats the RIDGID LSA. Again. Buy this before it’s gone.
