June 6, 2022I like the RYOBI brand of products. I am a do-it-yourself kind of guy and find these tools fit my needs very well. I recently got an 18-volt Reciprocating saw and have been very pleased with it. The weight is heavy enough to help reduce kickbacks but not so heavy that you get arm fatigue when using it. The trigger/grip opening is plenty big to allow for use with gloves. It is variable speed (0 to 3,400 strokes per minute), with a stroke length of 1 inch. A nice safety feature is the Lock on/off switch which can keep the trigger from activating when saw is not in use. Another feature that is essential to me is the quick install/release of the blade. By simply pulling up the lever on the side you can swap/replace blades very easily. It uses standard blades
